Nets:
They essentially trade Mikal Bridges, Cam Thomas and a top 10 pick for Luka Doncic because they only send out the Knicks picks
they still have 7 trade able FRP to pair Luka with a star (2x 25’, 2x 27’, 29’, 2x 31’ and swaps or theoretically a pick every year until 2032) —> next years FA class is really strong and the nets have enough money for a max contract
Lakers:
They basically rescind their trade for Luka and manage to surround AD/Bron with what would’ve been ideal fits in the first place
Lakers also get assets and cap space for the post AD/Bron era (they get back a pick in 27’ + Brooklyns top 10 pick this year)
the after trade roster would be top 2 in the west and gives them a better chance to win a championship than the current one
Mavs:
they do what they should’ve initially done: trade Luka for young players and a load of pciks
Dallas has the opportunity to get at least a second FRP each year until 2031 and they get Cam Thomas and solid role players too —> Cam Johnson, PJ and Klay could all still land them some picks from contenders
Kyrie will probably miss half the season and he won’t be any help while he’s in a contract year, moving him makes a lot of sense —> they also get a lot of roster flexibility after 2026 for taking on Beals contract
Ownership might actually get their wish and manage to move the franchise to Vegas while they are irrelevant
Suns:
Suns have two choices: either go all in to help KD/Book or blow everything up —> this trade allows them to maximize their god awful situation
Kyrie misses half the season but it’s not like Beal would do more for them anyway
