Bucks upgrade the defense and depth of the roster. The role players haven’t been good and these guys are much better than who they have.

Nets get an expiring Lopez and some nice draft capital. I could see the Bucks even releasing protections on the 2025 FRP owned to Brooklyn. They can flip Brook, and Pat could be dumped this offseason.

This isn’t aggregating salaries, the Bucks take back 3 players and send out 2. If they took back less players then they send out, then that’s where the trade becomes illegal.
