I’m grading the trade, not who they picked at 16, so I like the value. Who they picked is another discussion entirely but they got great value for moving the 11th pick. They moved down 5 slots and got the guy they wanted, plus added a future first and multiple seconds. Solid deal value wise.

Grizzlies : C+

I guess they were worried that Coward would go earlier? Personally, I don’t get this though. There were still better 3 and D prospects available so they could’ve waited at 16 even if they were set on Coward. Value wise, this isn’t a good deal but they got there go so I’ll settle at C+.
