The Mavs are heading in a whole new direction. No Luka, no more AD, a whole new front office with Masai Ujiri at the helm as President, and they have now parted ways with Jason Kidd. The chances the Mavs will trade Kyrie I think have increased a lot. It’s likely someone like Mikel Brown Jr or Labaron Philon get taken at the Mavs draft pick. Pairing a likely guard in this draft with a guy like Suggs who could slide in at SG but still be switchable (and he’s still only 24 years old) would be an ideal move. Plus Orlando needs a guy like Kyrie. An instant offensive hub who pairs excellent with Paolo and Franz who can be a fantastic PG but can also play off ball and still be effective offensively when those two need the ball.
