This trade gives the Nuggets a great PG to keep them at the top of the West while their star Jamal Murray is out. The Nuggets do not know if Jamal Murray can return to his old form so this trade makes a lot of sense for them. The Celtics appear to be shopping Schroeder because they cannot retain him. This trade gives them a very underrated PG and a talented center.
