This trade has the Pacers sending over their star power forward Sabonis to Washington. The Pacers are currently 13th and the East and have been a big disappointment without T.J Warren. There are many trade rumors saying the Pacers should break up their forward duo of Sabonis and Turner and I agree. The key pieces going to the Pacers in this trade are Rui Hachimura and Thomas Bryant. Last year before tearing his ACL, Thomas Bryant averaged almost 17 ppg. If they even get half of that form this is a major win for them. They also add Rui Hachimura, a young talented forward, that really hasn't been on the court this year. Currently, he is stuck behind Kyle Kuzma so this would open up playtime for him. The Wizards started off the season 10-3 but have since dropped to 22-21 and are the 8th seed. This trade gives them a star to pair with Bradley Beal who is on one of the best contracts in the league. They do lose some depth but they have plenty of guys who should be getting minutes regardless…

This trade gives the Nuggets a great PG to keep them at the top of the West while their star Jamal Murray is out. The Nuggets do not know if Jamal Murray can return to his old form so this trade makes a lot of sense for them. The Celtics appear to be shopping Schroeder because they cannot retain him. This trade gives them a very underrated PG and a talented center.
Celtics: Smart, Brown, Tatum, Horford, Williams Bench: Morris, Pritchard, Richardson, Bol, Freedom
Nuggets: Schroeder, Barton, Gordon, Green, Jokic Bench: Campazzo, Hyland, Rivers, Green, Nnaji…

This trade sends the very underrated Lu Dort to Atlanta to become Trae Young's backcourt mate. He is young and is a great defender who can space the floor. The Thunder continue their rebuild by adding high potential players in Reddish and Johnson who need more minutes.
Hawks: Young, Dort, Hunter, Collins, Capela Bench: Williams, Bogdanovic, Huerter, Gallinari, Okungwu Final 3: Cooper, Wright, Dieng
Thunder: Gilgeous-Alexander, Giddey, Reddish, Bazley, Favors Bench: Maledon, Mann, Wiggins, Pokusevski, Robinson-Earl Final 3: Jerome, Johnson, Williams…

This trade makes the Sixers title favorites in the East and easily the best team. The Pelicans have been abysmal this year and this trade helps them start over.
Sixers: Maxey, Curry, Ingram, Harris, Embiid Bench: Graham, Korkmaz, Green/Thybulle, Niang, Drummond
Pelicans: Simmons, Alexander-Walker, Hart, Zion/Herb, Valinciunas Bench: Lewis Jr/Satoransky, Temple, Murphy, Hayes…

This trade makes the 76ers final contenders. This trade lets the Thunder rebuild around Maxey and Giddey because SGA does not really fit the timeline. The Kings add Simmons to make them a playoff team.
76ers: SGA, Curry, Green, Harris, Embiid
Thunder: Maxey, Giddey, Dort, Bagley, Favors
Kings: Fox, Haliburton, Barnes, Simmons, Holmes…

East Standings:
Bucks: 57-25( Hot start keeps them at the top of the East) Sixers: 56-26(Midseason trade for De'aron Fox vaults them towards the top of the East) Heat: 54-28(New acquisitions coupled with Nets injuries and drama get them a top 3 seed) Nets: 52-30(They have Harden and KD, but the injuries and drama prevent them from top 3 seed) Hawks: 48-34(Young squad ready to compete but not as good as the teams above it) Bulls: 46-36(Team will take time to build chemistry but very talented) Celtics: 45-37(They have a good squad but the teams above it are just better) Knicks: 43-39(The Knicks have a good squad with depth but lack a superstar that the teams above have) Wizards: 41-41(The Wizards have a very solid squad that will be fun to watch) Hornets: 40-42(They have a young team and Lamelo needs to grow as their leader)
Miss the Playoffs:
Raptors: 39-43(They're back in Toronto but it will be hard to compete with the best of the East) Pacers: 37-45(Injuries and trade rumors seem t…
