Nets: Anfernee Simons, Jarred Vanderbilt, Xavier Tillman, 2 SRPs
Celtics: Gabe Vincent, Andre Drummond
76ers: Ziaire Williams
Lakers: Terrence Mann, Haywood Highsmith
Nets:
All 3 of the players they are trading have basically peaked, they are not in Nets' future plan and can be flipped for expirings and picks. Half year Anfernee Simons experiment and see if he’s worth extending
Celtics:
Pretty clear on what the Celtics are looking for this deadline, big man depth, and duck under tax. This trade puts them just below the tax threshold, and get Drummond as another option for the center spot, he is not the type of center the Celtics actually want, but their other targets will put them over the tax threshold so Drummond probably is the best option. Celtics still need a backup PG after trading Anfernee, so they get Gabe Vincent back, ironically the guy who cooked them in 2023
76ers:
76ers can do with more depth at the wing, and with them having depth with the bigs, they will want to flip Drummond to Ziaire
Lakers:
There are basically no 3&D wings available on the market. They will face a lot of competition for Highsmith, just gonna pray that Nets take their offer as they are short on picks. Vando is on the trade block, trading him for Terrence Mann which gives them another shooter beside Luka and Bron
