I’m not sure what the second round compensation is yet so I just used a random pick.

Bucks : C+

This is an intriguing deal for the Bucks. They get Kuzma who could definitely help them this year and probably is a decent fit. However, they give up Middleton and essentially 2 firsts for him since AJ Johnson was a first rounder this past year. Kuzma does add scoring and size to them while also significantly decreasing the age and cost of the team. Time will tell how this deal pans out if the Bucks can make a run.

Wizards : B

This is a decent deal for the Wizards as they add Johnson and a swap. They now have 4 players from this past first round. However, they didn’t actually get a first round pick out of this. The pick swap is nice but you feel they could’ve gotten a little more especially since they have to take on Middleton’s contract. Still a decent deal though and Middleton will be off the books in 2026z
