I feel at this point that the only real candidates for a Ayton S&T are the Spurs and the Pacers. The Pacers will likely be more appealing because Turner is obviously a better player than Poeltl, and both teams can offer a future first.

If they do the Pacers trade, they will likely look to move off Johnson's contract. He is a very valuable player to them, however he is going to be looking for an extension next off-season worth about $15-$17 mil per year and the Suns simply will not be willing to pay it. They have a lot of depth at wing with Bridges, Crowder, Saric, and Craig, while all those players other than Bridges are on expiring deals, all of those players will also likely re-sign for a cheaper contract than they are currently on. They would then be able to use the tax-payer MLE to re-sign Javale, giving them a true contending 10 man line-up.

Starters: PG: Paul, SG: Booker, SF: Bridges, PF: Crowder, C: Turner

Bench: PG: Payne, SG: Shamet, SF: Craig, PF: Saric, C: McGee
