Raptors haven't been competitive since 2019 so why not begin the rebuild around Scottie Barnes, a budding young prospect. In return for giving up a unsettled O.G they get a young defensive minded prospect in Josh Green and a recently drafted lottery pick with immense upside in Derrick Lively

Mavericks Perspective 🐎:

Mavericks as we know have all the offensive talent in the world but are lacking grit and a hardnosed defense, Mavericks trade two young prospects in Josh green who wont get the most minutes behind Luka, Kyrie, and fighting for minutes against Jaden Hardy, and Dereck Lively which will be a loss but worth it with the return. Since Dallas lose to centers it leaves them with no choice but to resign Wood who is a talented offensive talent who will get more money that offered anywhere else.
