both the warriors and the celtics are not likely to be able to resign their own expiring contracts, because of the luxury tax for the warriors, and because of no bird rights for the celtics. but by doing this trade, the celtics would get the bird rights to two restricted free agents lee, and toscano-anderson.

the warriors could expect some much needed offensive spark off the bench from schroder. schroder is a speedy guard who excels at driving to the basket. he shot 44% from the field and 35% from behind the arc this season. he is a ok defender for his size. he averaged nearly 16points and 5assists, but his offensive rating isn't the best at 108, although that could be due to spending most of his playing time with not so offensively talented second unit.

lee and toscano-anderson are defensive wings with decent size and athleticism. lee is a better shooter than toscano-anderson, with lee shooting 35% with 3attempts from 3.3, and toscano-anderson at 28% with 1.4attempts. celtics could need them if they sign and trade for a max star, most likely sending out horford, nesmith, langford, and hernangomez. bjelica will not likley be a much of a factor since he was signed using minimum and doesn't come with bird rights.
