The goal of the trade was to get your favorite team Wembanyama

Knicks- LAND WEMBY. Of course the haul they would give up would be massive but it is Wemby. He immediately fixes their interior defense problem and gives this team the best two way punch in the league with Brunson and Wemby. They completely bet on this being their future but for Wemby it’s worth it.

Spurs- They get a HAUL for Wemby. Mikal Bridges and Jalen Green could be key parts of the future plus NINE FRPS and loads of srps. Wemby is of course untraceable but if it were to happen, this might be enough to convince the Spurs.

Rockets- To be honest, I just needed a third team with picks but this makes sense for the Rockets. KAT is actually a good defender when he’s at the 4 instead of the 5 which is where he would play next to Sengun. This gives the Rockets and loaded froncourt and gets rid of Jalen Green, freeing up minutes for Reed Sheppard. They still have a decent draft stock left as well
