my take here is that
philly uses the fact that fox being on trade market proves that fox is not a main star type if player instead he is a second option player as leverage for philly.
sac attempts to use ben simmons not being to able to play and his limited offensive capaibilities as an argument so they get compensated with picks. however, i think the kings don't truly want to blow it up and knowing that ben simmons keeps them in the contention window for a playoff spot, they may be more willing to do this trade.
knowing that ben simmons may be the only option as a trade to keep the kings a float they do this trade instead of going for a more rebuild centric trade. maybe toronto could offer one with siakam but thats the only trade i could think of.
