Saw this trade on ESPN. Could be paired with my previous trades
Celtics - Boston needs to save money as there is no justifiable reason to pay so much for a team that most likely won’t contend next season. Here they save around $80 million in salary and tax which could be more if paired with my previous moves. Reath can still be a contributor for this contending team in the future and he’s still very young. They lose Hauser and a second rounder but this is a necessary move for Boston.
Blazers - This is a move for the Blazers that helps them short term and long term. Reath’s playing time has gone down as Clingan has started to emerge and the crowded center room for the Blazers so this isn’t a major loss. They net a second rounder and Hauser, who massively upgrades this team’s floor spacing and is locked in long term.
