First up Pick Scoot Henderson at 2 because you go Talent over fit and plus if you pick for talent the fit will follow. It’s like the Pistons situation with Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey. That’s what these two point guards are like. One is an amazing passer and good shooter. Another is a great slashing guard that can also pass a bit.

Second pick up all of the team options including Bouknight. Yes he did play pretty bad but he can always be used as a trade piece.

Third trade Gordon Hayward to the Knicks for Evan Fournier, Isaiah Hartenstein and a Mavericks 2024 First Round Pick and trade Terry Rozier to the Pelicans for Larry Nance Jr., Garrett Temple, and Kira Lewis Jr. Those two are win now players and you need a foundation before you can win now so I would start laying that foundation first. Three of these guys are expiring deals but Lewis is on a team option so it would technically be two. The other two are on two year deals meaning after this year they could be trade assets or just stay an extra year and give the Hornets more money for free agency.

Fourth pick up the qualifying offer for Miles Bridges. I know the whole drama was a lot but I feel like he has definitely changed as a person and this would make the team better. He deserves a second chance and I think this would be where he plays best.
