Lakers The rumors of Kyrie and Westbrook being traded for each other continue to linger, and its only a matter of time before the Woj bomb explodes the average fans twitter page. In this trade, for the Lakers, the huge piece is obviously Irving coming to L.A. in hopes to win another ring with Lebron James. We all remember how legendary Kyrie and LeBron were together with the Cavaliers and we'd be lying to ourselves if we didn't want to see it again. This truly would give the Lakers a big 3. A top point guard in the league when he is committed to basketball, arguably the best player of all time, and still a young Anthony Davis that is a monster of a player when healthy. Yes I know it sounds like a lot of what ifs, but this would be a top trio in the league when at their best. The Lakers add much needed three point shooting in this trade and also improve slightly on the defensive side of the ball. Taking a flier on Kessler Edwards is well worth it, as I believe him and THT are similar. They do lose two future first round picks, which they want to avoid, but with Kyrie on the doorstep it's too sweet of a deal to pass up on.

Hawks A huge risk. One that would be very hard for Landry fields, the Hawks general manager, to decide on. Giving up your youth and more future picks for one of the best players in the world. This immediately would give the Hawks the best starting 5 in the league. Young, Murray, Bogdanovic, KD, Capela. Adding Durant without a question brings the hawks into championship talks. The bench is where Atlanta fans might worry. It is very thin and they don't open up any cap space in this trade. They would need role players to step up big time throughout the season and especially in the playoffs for this trade to be worth it. Is this worth giving up three young players and two future picks for a 3 to 4 year window with Durant, young, and Murray? Tough call.

Nets The Nets are a complete mess and it's hard to point the finger at any single person. Brooklyn thought their dream came true when Kyrie, KD, and Harden were all on the same team, when in reality it was a dumpster fire. Harden gets shipped for Simmons who just wants to collect a paycheck and Kyrie has had his head in space focused on everything but basketball. Durant has had enough and wants out. The Nets need to completely start over and they have the pieces to do so. They should ship Simmons elsewhere for some picks and shooting, I didn't get into that. The four first round picks are what attract the Nets and I do think they can get more. They also added four very young and promising players in THT, Hunter, Collins, and Okongwu. This team would be centered around Westbrook for the next couple of years as they try to rebuild, and quite honestly, this team isn't awful. Most importantly they free up cap space for free agency next year.
