Why the Knicks do it: It’s pretty obvious why the Knicks do it. Bradley Beal would be a huge addition to the team, and pairing him with Kyle Lowry and Derick Rose could turn the Knicks backcourt into one of the best in the league. The leadership of Kyle Lowry would be a welcome addition, and bringing back Derick Rose would be great for the Knicks. They are also able to resign Mitchell Robinson, which is also great for the Knicks. With this lineup, the Knicks could do some legitimate damage in the league, and they could put together a pretty convincing playoff run. Doing these moves makes them much more equipped to do just that, and I’m sure Knicks fans will be delighted to see their team succeed with a lineup like this.

Starting Power Forward: Julius Randle

Starting Center: Mitchell Robinson

Why the Wizards do it: They would only do this if things do not work out for them this season, and they miss the playoffs. This would be excellent value for Beal. Quickly has been one of the best rookies this season, and Toppin has been alright too. Knox is still young and has a lot of potential, so he would be another welcome addition. The four first round picks help get the deal done. By doing this trade, the Wizards could start to rebuild, and with all of these assets, I don’t think it will be a long rebuild. The Wizards could be a playoff caliber team again in just a couple of years after doing this trade, since all of the young talent they receive and the players they draft will be more developed.
