Teams resolve their issues with a 4-way trade that makes sense all around:

Pels get their center in Ayton. He's on a bad contract but can score, rebound and is a big body, something they need in the West. Plus they remove the Ingram headache. And they get a pick.

The Bulls never like to be totally bad, so Ingram is good fit for them to be play-in level. And they get out from the Lavine contract.

The Lakers get a third scorer in Lavine. Except for a bad year last season, he's been a consistent bucket-getter and a good athlete.

Portland moves on from the bad Ayton contract and backlog at center. Plus they get a solid wing in Rui and a pick.
