Siakam's on a large expiring contract, its either trade him and get slightly scammed, or let him walk and get nothing because he ISNT resigning. The Pacers have been on the cusp of making the playoffs for a few seasons now but haven't been able to actually make it in, Pascal Siakam would come in and immediately make them a playoff team. He likes to get out and run which fits what the Pacers do to a tee. Tyrese Haliburton as the lead guard facilitating to Siakam would be incredible. The raptors would look to rebuild around Scottie Barnes because he's taken the jump the Raps are looking for. They will get Buddy Hield who they can make the decision to resign or not after the season, Tj McConnell who is a savvy veteran who can help young guards with the ins and outs of the league, and Isaiah Jackson who is a young big with great defensive potential. They will also get 2 first rounders which will be the main reason the Raptors do this deal as they don't have their own 2024 first rounder. The Hawks, Kings, Heat and Mavs are the teams in the rumors but this is an alternative route I can see working out very well.
