The Warriors might’ve just won an NBA Championship but if they want to keep winning in the future they need to make moves and make them now to not lose core pieces such as Wiggins, Poole, Looney, and Payton II. I’m going to be explaining this off-season plan for the GSW front office in steps:

Step 1: Extend Andrew Wiggins 3 years 75 million dollars. Even though this might seem like a slight underpay to some people, Wiggins will probably accept it in order to keep on winning in Golden State.

Step 2: Resign Gary Payton 6 Million Dollar 1 Year deal using the Tax-Payer MLE, this is the biggest no-brained signing the Warriors can make.

Step 3: Accept Jordan Poodle’s team option. The reason the Warriors shouldn’t extend Poole just yet is because even though it will cost more to extend him in the future, Golden State can resign/stretch Draymond Green and Steph Curry’s deals to make cap space to resign Poole and Wiseman (I think) that year.

Step 4: Draft the most NBA ready prospect you can at 28 to help replace anyone who leaves in free-agency

Step 5: Offer the minimum (only money you have left) to a bunch of role players: Looney, Bjelica, Otto Porter, Iggy, etc. Whoever accepts you sign whoever rejects it you move on from and sign a free agent.

2023 GSW Roster if these moves take place: Curry, Klay, Wigs, Draymond (probably slightly worse), Wiseman, Poole, GP2, Free Agent/Rookie, Kuminga Free Agent/Rookie
