In reality I don't think the pacers would do this, as they won't want to pay Ingram and he's injured. But lets say they don't care about paying him and he's not injured, I think this trade works for both teams. Indiana just needs more, although they give up a really good center and a role player I think Ingram, who's not injured will elevate this team into the playoffs. They also don't have to give up Mathurin who has been really good. For the Pelicans they get a good defensive center and get more depth for their injury ridden team.
