1) If LAL is done with LBJ, better option sign-and-trade (i.e. 1+1 $30mm/per) versus letting him walk relative to this darkhorse proposal allows LBJ to ring-chase in a scenario (to SAS) where he still gets paid (no state taxes TX) on a lightened load, as Spurs have studs to do the heavy lifting exchanged for LeBron's elite bball IQ and passing/playmaking.

2) Fox's $50mm extension (albatross) needs to move to a team more desperate (overpay) for added stability he can bring ... BKN is a candidate after their whiff on their 2025 FRPs. This allows SAS to move Harper into starting role to cement that exciting future (Castle/Harper). SAS becomes a matchup nightmare with 2-way players at all 5 positions.

3) Lakers take a flier on MPJ (again, need to get something solid return for LBJ who could walk instead) could be high-level pressure-relief valve for Luka with his sniper and improvement (this season) attacking those closeouts and getting fo the rim. Lakers will still have defensive issues (lacking footspeed generally), chancing MPJ will enjoy L.A. enough to resign (bit of a fame/paparazzi wannabe) after next season at fair value i.e. $25mm/per.

Fill in the blanks around the edges with whatever supplemental pieces/picks. Based on the idea LBJ is close enough to L.A. <3hr flight and still close to Bryce (playing at UofA) to take a swing with SAS ... high Wemby ceiling makes all the difference.
