To me, it feels like the hawks and Trae are running out of time. Dyson, zacch, and Jalen have all been great this year, but Trae needs the ball in order to perform well. Moving on from Trae would open up so many possibilities for especially jalen and zacch to start balling out. On the other hand, the magic need a ball handler and playmaker to open up franz and Paolo. I think this trade would benefit both teams. For the hawks, you’re getting back young talent like Anthony black as well as a lot of depth and 2 frp. I think if this trade were to happen, kcp would probably be flipped later on to somewhere else. Maybe the magic wouldn’t be willing to trade 2 frp, but aside from that, who says no?…
