Aday Mara: Mara's draft stock has been rising recently his impact on the defensive end and the glass is something Hawks are in desperate need of. Whether it's off the bench or starting, he's an excellent center to pair with Onyeka as it allows the Hawks to play different styles of basketball. A 5-out offense and switch-everything perimeter defense with Onyeka or a more traditional offense and rim protecting defense with Mara (who perhaps will Quinn could develop a 3 ball who knows 🤷‍♂️). Taking Mara at 7 may seem a bit excessive but I believe the Hawks are at a stage where they should be very intentional with their picks we already have an established identity and a way we wanna play and with Mara impact at the basket I think he's totally worth it.

Cameron Carr: A 6'5 very athletic, lengthy, tall wing that compliments the Hawks' identity well. Hawks are a top 5 shooting team, adding another near 40% shooter on good volume won't hurt at all. Good defender gives good effort as well, catches lob (I love lobs). Will have to put on weight but shouldn't be too much of an issue. Connective passer, but apparently makes questionable decisions sometimes with shot selection and passes but in a smaller role and in Quinn system it'll prolly be ironed out.
