In order to completely understand the moves a team makes the timeline of events must be listed as well.

  • Pick 14 the Blazers select Yves Missi

  • Pick 34 the Blazers select Bobi Klintman

  • Blazers take part in a 2nd 3 team deal acquiring De'Andre Hunter and a FRP in exchange for Jerami Grant

  • Blazers sign both Edey and Klintman to two way deals

Blazers maintain full use of the MLE and stay 10 mill below the luxury line

Start of Season

Starting lineup:

  • Simons

  • Sharpe

  • Hunter

  • Williams

  • Ayton

Off the bench they mix and match lineups as needed rather than a full on rotation allowing Scoot, THJ and Thybulle to come in and play 3 guard lineups frequently. They also go deep into their rotation allowing Buzelis and Messi minutes even with Reap and Murray slightly ahead of them on the depth chart.

During the season

  • They start the year sloppy trying to figure out how to play with each other. The additions show strong but the chemistry doesn't work from the get go. Thybulle eventually comes in for Hunter and Buzelis takes more minutes from Murray and the team begins to look strong around mid season. They take tons of calls on Williams, Hunter, Hardaway Jr, and Simons at the deadline and strongly consider them.
