The Hawks go all in for Giannis and take advantage of an improving Jalen Johnson and the fact they have rights to the Bucks/Nola 1sts for the next two seasons.

There Cavs do this trade mostly for fit, Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley are the future of this team and Garland needed the ball to be the best version of him but that took away from the others. Adding Daniels not only gives the Cavs the best defensive pairing in the NBA, but Dyson fits much better offensively as well. He helps eliminate the exploitation of the two small guard backcourt.
