Hawks need a backup PG desperately, and are reportedly looking to love Capela. However I don’t believe that moving any valuable picks would be smart for the Hawks this year.

This deal sees the Hawks acquire wing depth in Cody Martin, a backup center in Nick Richards and Vasilije Micic for when Trae is off the floor.

Hornets are already out of play-in contention and can continue losing, while opening up minutes for Diabite, Nick Smith Jr, KJ Simpson and Tidjane Salaun, as well as acquiring a couple seconds and Capela’s expiring.
