AD Trade where everyone gets what they want

FAILED

As a Hawks fan, it would be foolish to include Risacher in the trade. Of course adding him for salary purposes makes it easy to get done.

If the Hawks really want AD but are unwilling to trade Risacher, another team at least would need to be involved.

Here's why each team would do this deal with some analysis:

Atlanta Hawks- They get Anthony Davis without trading the 2026 Pelicans pick and Zaccharie Risacher. They give up the expiring contracts of Kristaps Porzingis and Luke Kennard which would be in a typical trade. The Hawks don't lose much of anything here and Anthony Davis when healthy makes the team more competitive. It's a win for the Hawks.

Dallas Mavericks- The Mavericks want good young player(s), expiring contract(s), and picks for Davis. They get all of those. They have been interested in Jonathan Kuminga so they get a deal done here. The Mavericks also get a look at Brandin Podziemski to be one of the guards of the future possibly. They give up Hardy's overpriced salary to the Warriors as well, who has been out of the rotation due to the success of Ryan Nembhard and Brandon Williams. The Mavericks get a first and some second round picks from the Hawks. They also get a first for Gafford from Golden State.

Warriors- The Warriors always need a competent center so they get one of the prized centers on the market in Daniel Gafford. In this deal, they move off Kuminga and give up a 2027 first to get him (it could be any first round pick). The Warriors also get Luke Kennard, the most accurate 3-point shooter in the league. The Warriors could use him to replace Buddy Hield. The Warriors could choose to resign him in the summer.

-------- Some salaries like Buddy Hield, Jaden Hardy, N'Faly Dante are in for salary purposes but the teams acquiring them could take a flier on them and ser how they fit. Dante is out for the season with a torn ACL.

This trade would make all of the teams here more expensive so this exact deal is a bit questionable. The Mavericks and Warriors stay in the 2nd apron. The Hawks take in 10 more million reaching the cap.

With all of this, who says no?
