Hawks will almost certainly attach the #23 pick to dump salary this offseason. In this iteration Denver gets involved in order to dump Cam and get something back in return (#33 pick in 2026 draft). Buddy Hield would be waved and stretch by Denver only costing them 1M against the cap over 3 seasons.

I imagine Denver would hope to get more for Cam but I'm skeptical. I think #33 in this draft is decent return. Who says no?
