When bringing up the Lakers vs. Pelicans, they mentioned that this matchup would happen again in the Play-In, and yapped about the Lakers not having a guaranteed playoff spot, bla bla bla. The part that pissed me off the most was them never saying that the Lakers could play the Kings. We're 2 - 2 vs. GSW in the regular season series, with every game being close. We also happen to have one of the best clutch players in the NBA, and he steps up to the occasion, as what we saw last year.

We're also 4 - 0 vs. LAL in the season series. No excuses for any game, we're simply better. The stigma of not knowing what to do in the Playoffs is also gone, because we just experienced a GRUELING 7-game series, where Sabonis was one gunshot in the chest away from winning a Purple Heart award. We aren't lost anymore. Not only that, our team is flat-out better from last year. Adding JaVale is huge for a locker room presence, and we also have figured out the system with Sabonis. Despite dropping 6 seeds from last year, we only had 2 less wins. Keon Ellis has finally become a very solid rotation player for us like we wanted him to.
