This under the assumption that each of these 4 guys would go for 1-3 seconds and salary filler in Sims. I don't think thats a crazy assumption by any means.
I am also under the assumption that it is pointless to trade Mitch or Precious at this point which how solid Precious has been recently and how low Mitch's value is rn.
Here are my thoughts on each guy.
Burks: Maybe the worst of the 4, but a guy that can handle the ball, shoot the 3, and has ok size to play the 2 or 3. Maybe most importantly, somebody we know that Thibs will play and somebody that has played real playoff minutes. Doesn't exactly fill a need unless you think the second best offense in the league needs a scorer off the bench, but overall not a bad choice.
Yabu: Big PF with size. Kind of like the opposite of Precious as his best traits are offensively with his three point shot and finishing while his defense is sub par, but his size allows him to be serviceable, especially when surrounded by other good defenders. Would be a good depth piece and I think he could play next to Precious, Kat, or Mitch.
Javonte Green: More of your traditional 3 and d wing having one of his better seasons in this Pelicans shit show of a year. 38% from 3 this year and a really solid defender, his main down side is his rebounding. Hes actually not bad on the offensive glass, but his defensive rebounding is pretty horrendous. Hes also far from the biggest wing at 6'5, though a 7 foot wing span makes up for some of that.
Duop: A classic stretch 5. He can play a bit of 4 but lineups with him and Kat would likely struggle immensely. However, as a backup to Kat and playing alongside Precious or maybe even Mitch he should be able to give some really solid minutes. Hes also barely played at all this year so its a lot of faith being put in him that he would return to his form from last year. Tbh this is my least favorite out of the 4 options.
P.S. I'm pretty sure that Yabu and Burks technically make slightly less than Sims, which makes for some complications since both teams are apron teams so cannot take back more money then they send in. In order to solve this, one of these other teams or really any under the apron team can be involved to send their own minimum or just plain and simple take back sims for a second without sending anything out.
