Knicks: Add two solid “core” players in exchange for Randle, Obi, and Knox and a top-35 pick. Randle is tough to lose, but Collins aligns more with the RJ / Quickley / Mitch timeline and allows NY to retain Collins’ bird rights, rather than offering an immediate max. Additionally, Levine gives the Knicks a dynamic leading scorer with range who’s familiar with Thibs and under contract for another year.

Hawks: Get something for Collins by adding a fringe all-star and better defender with an extra year under contract. The first round pick may seem expensive, but it would only convey if they make the playoffs, which avoids trading anything too valuable.

Bulls: This trade is more likely to occur in the offseason or next year, but this package (Obi, Knox, and two top-35 picks in a solid draft class) may be a solid return that allows them to replace Lauri and further maximize the return from this re-tooling. Swapping a full expiring (Snell) for Satoransky’s $5mm buyout may also be a win for ownership.
