I’m not really sure why this trade doesn’t work since their salaries match🤷‍♂️

Knicks - New York needs more frontcourt depth and while Sims is an athletic big, he provides little else. Yabusele has been a bright spot for a dismal Sixers team as he is averaging 10 and 5. He provides rebounding and decent three point shooting to this Knicks team that sorely needs depth.

Sixers - Philly’s season has been horrific and they’re not even in the play-in currently. This nets them two second rounders which is pretty much all gain since they signed Yabusele on a minimum contract this offseason without much expectations. Sims can also develop and may turn into a backup for Embiid long term. Or his contract expires and it’s not big deal.
