Heard a lot of shit about Blazers fans valuing their players way too high but I think this is perfectly fair if not too much value.

Heres why each team does it:

Knicks: Getting a reliable backup center would be great. Duop was an old ass rookie last year so if Portland fans view him as some guy with great potential I don't want to hear it, hes 27. That being said, dude had a pretty good offensive bag for a center and is overall average based on his stats. Average rebounder, average to below average defender, average to above average shooter, decent pick and roller(maybe the film says more but thats what I can guage from the minimal amount I've watched and looking at some stats). Duop is also the fourth string center Portland, so they should be pretty willing to ship him off especially considering they have their center of the future in Clingan.

Portland: As said, hes their fourth string center. Ayton, Clingan, and Timelord all exist. I don't see a reason to keep even 3 of them around, much less all 4, and this contract is the easiest to move. Getting back some light draft capital and a veteran pg to backup the young guards on Portland is a good return.

Portland fans harass me.
