Why the Knicks would do this trade: The New York Knicks have put themselves in a good place to make a second trade after the OG Anunoby trade was seemingly a success, they have aspirations of making a ECF run this post season but they have a glaring hole which is shot creation/scoring off the bench. Quentin Grimes has been frustrated with his role this season along with having a down year across the board. Evan Fournier is on a bad contract and should have been traded a while ago, he is also very frustrated in New York. Bringing in Terry Rozier will give the Knicks a MUCH NEEDED scoring and shot creation boost off of the bench. Rozier is averaging 24/3.7/6.7 on the year on 46/38/87.5% shooting splits. If the Knicks want to make it far in the playoffs they need to fix this hole and Terry does that for them.

Why the Hornets would do this trade: Its no secret that the Hornets aren't good, Terry Rozier is a player that they can definetly sell at the deadline and get value out of. Bringing in Grimes as a young player would be great for this Hornets team, he is a 38% three point shooter and brings energy and defense, he also has a ridiculously quick first step and jump shot. He would be an amazing fit alongside LaMelo Ball. They will also net a first round pick which will probably be in the late 20s of the draft.
