This one would never happen for a lot of reasons but chief among them is I don't think the Nets would ever do this trade simply because they wouldn't want to help the Knicks in any way. But it would be insane and incredible, especially in a season with as many crazy storylines as this one. That being said, here we go!

Knicks: The Knicks FINALLY get KD after he spurned them to go to the Nets. He would instantly make the Knicks contender and get them the star that they've been looking for. The starting lineup of Brunson-RJ-Durant-Randle-Mitch would be a monster and give the Knicks the clutch player they've been missing. The part is short because well, almost any team would take Durant on their team.

Nets: The Nets main motivation to doing this trade is the ability to reload. Since they don't have any draft capital of their own, this gives them 4 unprotected FRPs in the next 4 drafts along with two more protected FRPs. They also take a chance on Reddish and get hometown player Obi Toppin who has tons of potential. I'm sure the Nets would ask for Grimes and honestly I could live with the Knicks giving him up. But even with that, I don't think the Nets would ever do this. But a Knicks fan always has to dream.
