Yesterday got a lot of pushback for not having the Brewers as contenders, and I want to explain myself real quick.

The Brewers are winning games because 1-9 are having amazing stretches of OBP. Good for them, but it's not sustainable. Theirs no way you can convince me that in OCTOBER that C. Yelich, Chourio, Turang, Vaughn, Frelick, Durbin, Contreras are going to hit consistently for a WHOLE MONTH. It's too unrealistic.

Now it's time to cover the AL! Hope you people enjoy!!

𝒫𝓇𝑒𝓉𝑒𝓃𝒹𝑒𝓇𝓈:

𝐵𝓁𝓊𝑒 𝒿𝒶𝓎𝓈: I think the Blue Jays peaked too fast. They have Vladdy, Springer, and Varsho. And that's it. Nothing more. Like the pretenders in the NL, my main issue is their bullpen. Hoffman has been HORRIBLE this season. Max Scherzer needs to hang it up. Santander has been injured all year. And when he's healthy, he hasn't been as good as he was last season. Their only hope is that Shane Bieber turns back the clock to 2020 lol. Their toast.

𝒯𝒾𝑔𝑒𝓇𝓈: The Tigers have been so exciting and depressing. Their rise has been their downfall. Even if you take away their horrible stretch of baseball, I would've put them in Pretenders. Skubal is about to go back-to-back in Cy Youngs, and he might 3-peat next year. But other than Skubal, this starting pitching has been absolutely awful. Last year, Flaherty looked like he was going to get 200 million with the Dodgers before falling apart in October. I do think Mize and Paddack can bounce back next season, but this isn't 2026. Their bats are solid. I really like Riley Greene and Kerry Carpenter, but everyone else is just... there. Gotta get more bats and GET S K U B A L SOME HELP!!!

𝒢𝓊𝒶𝓇𝒹𝒾𝒶𝓃𝓈/𝐼𝓃𝒹𝒾𝒶𝓃𝓈: Sorry, AL Central. The Guardians selling at the trade deadline and then going on to claim back the AL Central all in 2 months is the most Guardians thing ever lol. I have them here because it's simple. THEY SOLD ASSETS THAT WOULD'VE HELPED THEM!!! Shane Bieber being here would've helped them out. I love Kwan, Jose Ramirez, and Big Christmas. But I do think the lack of GOOD pitching and the loss of Emmanuel Clase will bite them if they make it.

𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓽𝓮𝓷𝓭𝓮𝓻𝓼:

𝓜𝓪𝓻𝓲𝓷𝓮𝓻𝓼: We all wondered what would happen if the Mariners actually had some bats? Well, here you go. Cal is having the greatest catcher season of all time. Eugenio Suarez might go for 50. Julio is the best CF in the AL The pitchers don't have to go 7 shutout innings just to keep them in the game. It's been an amazing season for Mariners fans. But the biggest question is, can they keep it going? We know that the pitching will be ready to go by October. I just hope that the bats stay hot.

𝓨𝓪𝓷𝓴𝓮𝓮𝓼: Ah, the Yankees. Whether you love them or hate them, they're the Yankees. The pinnacle of American sports or sports in general. They lose Soto and go out and get Cody Bellinger, Devin Williams, and Paul Goldschmidt. Well, they went 1/3. Cody has been awesome, Devin has been the biggest what happened to you this season, and Paul is just old :/ . Despite this, Aaron Judge hit 50 home runs (Shocker🙄), Grisham just came out of nowhere and hit 30+ home runs, and Volpe might be more hated in the Bronx than Nico Harrison is in Dallas. There have been a lot of downs. But give credit to this Yankees squad. They found a way to pull out of a stretch that almost single-handedly cost Aaron Boone his job. Question is. WILL JUDGE CHOKE AGAIN???

𝓡𝓮𝓭 𝓼𝓸𝔁: The Red Sox are in a very interesting position right now. On one hand, they have Crochet, Bregman, and Roman Anthony. On the other hand, their lack of bats concerns me. Outside of Bregman and MAYBE Jarren Duran, I don't trust anyone in their lineup. They're lacking a spark. Kind of some firepower they had (Devers). But for once, THE BULLPEN IS SOLID!!! Chapman has been great. And I love Whittlock. I just question if they need one more bat. Only time will tell...
