Lakers add 2 3&D wings in Highsmith and Ellis and a true lob-threat rim-protector in Claxton. Highsmith will be a better fit in the lineup than Rui, why? He is a solid 3&D wing who can defend 1-4 and move Rui to the 6th man where he is more confortable and is his ideal role (now that he is out injured Lakers could use smart as the sf and use thiero or mañon/nick smith jr until he is healthy). Also adding Ellis to the rotation will be elite, a young underrated 3&D wing who is a good shooter and great defender. And Claxton could also be a better fit in the lineup than Ayton, but Ayton is playing really well so the idea will for both to play around 24min a game similar to what Dallas was doing with Gafford and Lively.

Another thing is Lakers & Nets are always in good terms and like to trade with each other.
