WHY SHOULD THE LAKERS AND NETS DO THIS:

LAKERS:

• Simple, they need a big. Claxton is a big that could defend all five positions while also being a lob threat, which is a great pair for Luka. Basically a much better Jaxson Hayes.

• They give up Vando though, but when getting Claxton, you can't have two guys who can't space the floor, and that's how Vando becomes expendable. Claxton can do everything Vando can, except the part where he pests the hell out of offensive players. Besides, you can't get someone in return worhout giving something valuable.

NETS:

• Claxton regressed this season, and he seemed not motivated. Trading him to a contender where many teams are seeking bigs is in my opinion the best option they could do.

• You get a 2030 pick in this trade, which could be very very valuable.
