Reasoning:

Kings - in this trade the kings get off of Malik monks contract and get an expiring (Rui) who is also a good player they could keep. Keon clearly doesn’t belong so trading him for dalton could workout as dalton is young and has potential. UFRP also for the future could be good as it’s a 2031 no idea how the lakers will look.

Lakers - keon ellis will be a great player for LA being that needed 3&D guy and monk can improve the bench scoring. Only issue would be having a lot of guards Luka,Austin,smart,keon,monk,gabe but I think jj could definitely figure out a good rotation like: PG - Luka, Smart SG - Reaves, Monk SF - keon, Jake, Theiro PF - Bron, Vando, maxi C - Ayton, Hayes
