Lakers: B+ Wolves: A-

I actually think this makes a lot of sense for both sides.

Minnesota gets the better overall player right now in Luka and probably raises their championship ceiling immediately. A Luka offense with an elite defensive supporting cast around him would be terrifying in the playoffs.

But I also get why the Lakers would do it. Ant is younger, more athletic, and a much cleaner defensive fit next to Reaves and potentially Bron. After some FA signings like Dort or Wiggins, I can see a top ten team on both sides of the ball for LA next year.

Donte being out with the ACL all year definitely lowers the value on LA’s side, but don't overlook the contract angle. LAL sheds a year of guaranteed money since Donte is basically an expiring, while Vando still had 2 years left.

Really comes down to what you value more: Luka’s offensive engine or Ant’s two-way upside and long-term flexibility.
