-- DiVincenzo opportunities have always been lower than they should've been dating back to his days on the bucks and warriors. Last season with the Knicks he showed some of his potential next to brunson. Luka & LeBron are superior playmaker and open look generator, thus slotting DiVincenzo in for big-time starter minutes could improve his stats tremendously and also provide a perfect supplementary player.

Lakers do this if they think shorting the Timberwolves due to: Gobert aging, awkward roster construction/fit and ownership problems could leave them with some valuable picks. Picks could get even more valuable if Mavs are worse than Wolves due to spurs-mavs-timberwolves swap.
