Lakers: Garland would be great as a third option and an amazing option for the post-Lebron era due to his scoring and playmaking ability (Which would be amazing for AD's offense). He can stretch the floor and is a player that Lebron likes. He was an All-Star in Cleveland before Donovan Mitchell and think the potential is still there. Plus he is the best player the Laker's limited asset can get only because his value is at an all-time low.
Resign Taurean Prince to the taxpayer exception. He is a good player when in the right role which is off the bench and one of the only players that have shown he can still shoot when he puts a Lakers jersey on.
Resign Max Christie - I'm super high on his 3 and D upside and the flashes he's shown
sign Chris Paul to a vet minimum even if he doesn't play he will be great for the development of young guards like Reaves, Garland, and JHS
Starting line-up PG - Garland SG - Max Christie SF - Jared Vanderbuilt PF - Lebron James C - Anthony Davis
Bench Player PG - Austin Reaves, Chris Paul, JHS SG - Cam reddish SF - Taurean prince, Max Lewis PF - Christian Woods, C - Kel'el Ware
Why Orlando says yes
They get the shooting and playmaking they need in D'lo on a reasonable contract and get his bird right, allowing them to sign Klay Thompson while resigning D'LO. Plus they only have to give up Denver FRP which will end up between 25-30 anyways
Why Clevand says yes
Darland asked out if you keep Donovan Mitchell so they move him and fill a position of need at SF/pf with Rui who averaged 15.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 39 games as a starter last season, and get a defensive guard in Gabe Vincent to pair with Mitchell in the backcourt. They also get a super valuable FRP from the Lakers since the pick will be when Lebron is gone and AD will be out of his prime. Finally, they get a second FRP from Orlando. Joe ingles just a throw-in to make the math work and he's an expiring contract on a super movable deal if they want
