Nets do the deal to use their cap space while picking up a 2nd because Kleber deal is just an expiring their not going get a lot back for their cap space. Haywood is just a sweetener with a guy they going lose at end of the year.

Lakers do this deal to add a 3 and D wing around same age as Luka and AR without giving up there first or all their expiring money (possibly a 2nd move could come this trade deadline)
