LAKERS GET: Andrew Wiggins, the rumored well sought after versatile offensive & defensive wing. Who can guard positions one through four but most importantly would relieve Lebron from guarding the young swift multi-dimensional small forwards in the league. An added benefit is that Wiggins can almost outright replace Lebron's offensive production should Lebron require games off.
LAKERS GET: Haywood Highsmith, a defense first focused player that can sufficiently guard positions one through four and has proven that he can knock down open 3-point shots at a high clip. Which he'd get plenty of playing with Luka and Lebron.
The combination of Wiggins and Highsmith along with the recent acquisition of Marcus Smart and DeAndre Ayton would surround the Lakers stars with the defensive switchability and offensive capability absolutely necessary for serious championship aspirations in 2026!
HEAT GET: Rui Hachimura, a small forward & power forward combo who is an elite three-point shooter as well as a mid-range savant that can provide front court offense to supplement Bam Adebayo And Kelel Ware. Both players would surround Rui with the capable defense that will allow his primary offensive strengths to shine. He is on a one-year potential future cap saving, yet trade-friendly contract.
HEAT GET: Gabe Vincent, a combo guard that is familiar with Heat culture standards and a hard nose defender and three point spacer. He is also on a one-year potential future cap saving, yet trade-friendly contract.
HEAT GET: Dalton Knecht, a recent (just outside the lottery) draft pick who's shown to be a three point specialist that has the offensive talent to be a great player in the league. Knecht can benefit from the structure and player development that the Heat provide. Time and time again the Heat have taken on player-projects and grown them into tenured starters for their team i.e the aforementioned Haywood Highsmith and Duncan Robinson. There's no reason why with the Heat's proven blueprint Dalton Knecht couldn't become a Duncan Robinson level player for their organization.
Last But Not Least TheHeat ALSO GET: A Unprotected future first-round pick in the deal!
