So to get the Herb Jones trade through the Lakers 2026 pick would be the 25th plus accepting Knecht's rookie option (the Pels want two firsts but Vanderbilt and Knecht are less than desirable players)
For the Daniel Gafford trade (which I'm pretty sure would be impossible due to the Luka trade backlash) Ayton opts into his player option and the 2032 2nd is actually a 1st instead as the Lakers don't have a tradeable 2nd for right now.
Letting Luke Kennard walk (don't need more bad defenders) and Maxi Kleber for obvious reasons and the big move which is LeBron signing somewhere else gives the Lakers a boat load of money.
Peyton Watson for 25 million a year (as a RFA he could be way more). Rui Hachimura front-loaded contract worth 18 million a year. Mitchell Robinson 12.5 million a year. Matisse Thybulle 5 million a year. Jaxson Hayes and Kenrich Williams on short minimum deals for extra depth (Hayes being most important because of Gafford's and Mitch's injury history)
The rotation for next season would be PG: Luka Doncic, Marcus Smart, Reaves/Bronny SG: Austin Reaves, Matisse Thybulle, Herb/Smart/Adou SF: Herb Jones, Peyton Watson, Thybulle/Smart/Adou PF: Peyton Watson, Rui Hachimura, Herb/Kenrich C: Daniel Gafford, Mitchell Robinson, Jaxson Hayes
