Luka Doncic's all-time great scoring and passing ability in comparison to Devin Booker's scoring prowess and above average defense makes this trade virtually a perfect wash!

The reason this trade happens is to fix each teams present guards, duplicite-skillset issues. This trade will result into two better, cohesive starting units.

The Suns- Naturally, Devin Booker and Jalen Green are two shooting guards who are at there best when they are targeted by their pg to shoot the ball/make a play. The duplicity of there skillsets would likely make for an odd pairing.

The Lakers- Naturally, Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves are at there best when they have the ball in their hands for a high rate throughout the shot clock. They both do so to make the best play for themselves or draw in the defense for a pass to a teammate. Neither are best suited to play off of the ball, making it an less than ideal pairing.

Trading both superstars for each other (Booker would be a superstar in L.A) would make for a smoother roster for both teams. A starting backcourt of Reaves/Booker and Luka/Jalen would give both teams guards definitive roles, that each can star in without overlapping each others skillsets.
