Why the Nuggets do this:

LeBron and Jokic together is an absolute CHEAT CODE offensively, and you’re not giving up much defensively here in order to pull that off. Those two have the perfect role players in Denver in Cam Johnson and Aaron Gordon etc to make a deep postseason run for the next two years.

Why the Lakers do this:

Luka is a clear move toward the future for LA and this trade builds on that, trading LeBron for four future swaps and two future firsts along with Christian Braun sets them up very well long term.

Why the Heat do this:

Miami always turns it up in the playoffs and so does Jamal Murray, plus he’s the point guard fit they’ve been looking for in each of the past several offseasons.
