Title says it all. The optics and storylines on this would be the stuff of legend
Lakers get a bunch of value for a 53mil 40 year old who has 1 foot out the door into retirement.
an A+++ wing shooter in Klay
a quality long-term starting center in Gafford
decent wing defender/slasher in Martin
excellent wing playmaker/defender in Naji
Mavericks get 1 year of 40-year-old Lebron (and the cap room he represents when he leaves) who can simultaneously cover for Kyrie as the defacto PG and also mentor Flagg. Not the best fit-wise, but definetely a good way to consolidate assets in the short-term.
EDIT: I just wanna say, one additional benefit for both squads is that due to the obvious teammate history, there is preexisting chemistry that can be built on so the trade is less risky. All the Mavs roleplayers know how to play off Luka, and Kyrie/AD know how to play off Bron.
