Miami gets off the second year of Wiggins deal. I like the Rui fit next to this core. Is also several years younger than Wiggins and would cost less to keep around long term. Holmes could give you something behind Bam and Ware. It isn't great but its probably better than whatever they have now.

LA gets a starting-level wing that is a much cleaner fit next to Bron and Luka — better defensive potential, although Rui is the better shooter of the two. He is expiring next season, so he can be moved after this season, after LeBron's contract runs out. Perfect move for now while also retaining flexibility for the future. Rui is a good player but commiting long term to a player who is not an A plus defender next to Luka just doesn't make sense

Washington turns holmes into 2 seconds and vando. The Vando deal isn't great for LA, but that is more due to the fit issues with him and Luka. But on a team like WAS I do like the defensive potential he could bring to their frontcourt. Bilal, Sarr, and Vando give you some really solid versatile defensive pieces. He can also be traded for more in a season or two after the deal softens as some team will always be on the market for wings who can defend.
